Description
Will the world live up to the promise of ending poverty and hunger by 2030? Current trends suggest it will not. In 2030, 575 million people will be living in extreme poverty, and global hunger is as high as it was back in 2005.
Social protection can help get the world back on track.
Save the date to join this dialogue among policy makers, leading researchers and international practitioners to explore how social protection programmes can improve child nutrition, better target the most vulnerable, support smallholder farmers, and mitigate the risks of environmental shocks for people living in fragile situations.
