In the run-up to the UNESCO International Day against Bullying (2 November), an educational psychologist and pedagogical manager from the European School Education Platform will discuss e-learning courses, projects and other tools to counter violence in schools. Educational psychologist Dr Antonia Torrens will start with a deep dive into the interactive LINK e-learning course focusing on school bullying prevention and management. The course develops effective skills for teachers, as well as other professionals who work with children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Torrens is also the founder of the "Live Without" project in Greece.
Pedagogical and Monitoring Manager, Irene Pateraki from European School Education Platform will present its own professional development initiatives to counter bullying. She will refer to European Commission recommendations and frameworks, including "Pathways to school success", LifeComp, and eTwinning projects to counter bullying.
