Sustainability Week Belgium
Event details
Description
It is with great pleasure that we would like to invite you to participate with the third edition of "Sustainability Week Belgium” which runs from May the 1st through the 5th.
This production is a weeklong event that motivates local communities to take a part in the development of a sustainable planet. The programmed activities function as a catalyst towards the generation of a conscious consumerism and a more nurturing economic relationship with our planet. This initiative has been developed by environmental economist by Pamela Peeters in 2014 and was introduced to Belgium a year later.
The level of past participants is outstanding: a selection from the past American and Belgian events: Rick Bell (Director American Institute of Architects), Luc Bas (European Director IUCN), Pedro Ballesteros (Mayors Covenant, European Union), Susan Rockefeller (Film maker), Nicholas Eisenberger (Managing Partner Pure Energy), Amy Larkin (Author Environmental Debt), Sass Brown (Assistant Dean, Fashion Institute of Technology), Belgian American Chamber of Commerce (Manhattan), Chris Garvin (Terrapin Bright Green), Cathy Macharis (Vrije Universiteit Brussel), Dr. Mary Leou (New York University) ... just to name a few.
