Description
This training course is part of a process that aims at changing the way in which the EC provides Technical Cooperation. Underpinning this process is the Backbone Strategy Reforming Technical Cooperation and Project Implementation Units for External Aid provided by the European Commission.
This training course supports the implementation of the reform process of the way in which the EC provides Technical Cooperation (TC).
To help achieve a different TC approach and behaviour, the objectives of the training course are:
- Understanding the reason for reform in TC and PIUs and the root causes of ineffective TC that it addresses;
- Being able to approach the design and delivery of TC in a way that optimises partner-ownership and makes TC demand-led, result focused , accountable to the partner and more effective in terms of sustainable development;
