Don’t miss out on the exhibition “Virtual worlds: How video games are helping shape Europe’s digital future”, hosted by Members of the European Parliament Laurence Farreng (Renew), Ibán García del Blanco (S&D), Niklas Nienass (Green) and Tomasz Frankowski (EPP).
Organised with the involvement of the European Schoolnet and of the UN-facilitated Playing for the Planet Alliance, the exhibition will illustrate how video games contribute to the transformation of Europe’s digital economy and green transition through creativity and technology. Attendees will have the opportunity to play and test out video games, and attend roundtables in room A5G1 held on the topics of innovation, education and sustainability.
The opening event will take place on the 7th of March at 18:30, on the third floor of the European Parliament followed by a reception in the Mickey Mouse Bar.
Each day will cover how video games:
- contribute to the future of technological developments - March 7th
- prepare for the jobs of the future in education - March 8th
- can be used to deliver on the objectives of the Green Deal - March 9th
Come and meet key players in the games sector, both from civil society and industry, and learn more about one of Europe’s most successful digital and creative sectors.
