The India EU Water Partnership (IEWP) was established in 2016 by the European Union and India to strengthen the political and strategic framework for a more coherent and effective collaboration between both parties on water management issues.
Within the framework of IEWP Phase II (November 1st, 2020 – November 30th, 2023) focuses on four key areas, viz: River Basin Management; Irrigation and Efficient Water Use; Environmental Flow Assessments, and; Safe Reuse of Treated Water.
A key objective of the Partnership is to bring together European and Indian business enterprises to create opportunities for bilateral and mutually-beneficial cooperation through the establishment of bilateral business partnerships, joint ventures, technology transfers and the exchange of best practices and know-how.
This webinar is aimed at facilitating discussion with technical experts from Gujarat water sector on exploring opportunities and challenges for EU water companies on 'Irrigation and Efficient Water Use' in Gujarat.
This event is jointly organized by GIZ and EBTC, collaborating with Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO), Ahmedabad, Gujarat as event partner for this event.
