Event details
Description
On 24th April, Demo Finland will be hosting a webinar specifically designed for our international partners on the topic of
Women, Politics & Violence - Case Finland
Finland is well known for gender equality and the country’s long history of women’s political participation. However, Finland is not immune to violence against women (VAW) or violence against women in politics (VAWIP). In fact, Finland is one of the most violent countries in Europe for women.
Why does Finland still struggle with VAW and how does Finland compare internationally? What are the solutions to VAW? How do political parties tackle VAWIP? Join us at 14:00 EEST on the 24th of April to discuss these questions and more!
