Event details
Description
Get ready to celebrate World Environment Day on Sunday, 5 June!

Join us at the Grand Place to admire the City Hall as it illuminates in green from 9:30 to Midnight in celebration of World Environment Day.
Facing a triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution, Earth is in emergency mode and time is running out. We must go from harming our planet to healing it. The 2022 World Environment Day theme, #OnlyOneEarth, calls for global, collective, transformative action to celebrate, protect and restore our planet.
Join the global movement ahead of and on 5 June, here’s how: join people around the world, build your Earth Action commitment, and share your impact with the world via Earth Action Numbers, and using #OnlyOneEarth and #WorldEnvironmentDay on social media. The #OnlyOneEarth practical guide outlines some of the transformative actions that organisations, schools and people can take. There are also multilingual social media cards and key messages available here. Use #OnlyOneEarth or #UneSeuleTerre to be featured on the social media wall.
We look forward to celebrating World Environment Day with you!
