Description
SAVE THE DATE: Young Voices for Inclusive Governance: Implications for the post-2015 framework.
NOVEMBER 27, 09:30-11:00, European Development Days
Children and youth make up half the world’s population, yet too often their opinions on the issues which affect them are ignored.
If the post-2015 framework is to promote truly inclusive and sustainable, young people’s participation and influence in the decisions which affect their lives is essential.
Join the conversation led by young people themselves at this year’s European Development Days, taking place on 27 November, 09.30-11.00 at Tour & Taxis, Brussels. Hear what they have to say on the critical issues of child and youth participation and governance for the successor framework to the Millennium Development Goals.
Panellists:
• Jennifer, President of the Kinkole Children's Parliament, Democratic Republic of Congo
• Lloyd, Vice President of the European Youth Forum, United Kingdom
