A 2 day’s EarthRanger training workshop supported by Ai2 and the EU is taking place in Yaoundé. The goal? Strengthening management and landscape governance to better protect southern and central Cameroon's incredible wildlife and ecosystems.
Cameroon’s forests are among the most biodiverse in the Congo Basin but also among the most threatened by logging, agriculture, and bushmeat hunting. Organizations like @africanwildlifefoundation, @thewcs, and many others are working to protect these critical ecosystems by supporting local communities, strengthening anti-poaching efforts, and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
