The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) adopted and presented, on 2 November 2014, a Synthesis of the Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) marking a pivotal moment in the fight against climate change, as consensus is reached on the latest authoritative science behind climate change impacts and risks and opportunities for response.
