Activities that qualify for Rio markers in the sustainable energy sector
The European Commission Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) has produced a new short publication with quick tips on activities that qualify for Rio markers in the sustainable energy sector. The aim of the guidance note is to support DG INTPA and DG NEAR staff and partner countries to keep track of financial contributions of development cooperation actions towards the objectives of the United Nations Rio Conventions: the Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Convention to Combat Desertification.
Also, check the associated Quick tips guide to integrate environment and climate change into the energy sector.
