The 2011 Busan Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation reiterates some of the principles of aid effectiveness — notably national ownership, a focus on results, using partnerships for development, and transparency and shared responsibility. It also agreed on action points to accelerate progress. It includes sub-sections on ‘Promoting sustainable development in situations of conflict and fragility’ and ‘Partnering to strengthen resilience and reduce vulnerability in the face of adversity’.
