CAADP - Sustaining the momentum into the next decade

As CAADP neared a decade of implementation, the African Union Commission and NEPAD Agency commissioned this exercise to examine the drivers which impact on the implementation of CAADP and its capacity to deliver results and impact. The intention is also to look at the implications of global developments that impact - positively and negatively - on Africa’s potential. The purpose is to develop a bold agenda that builds on the achievements so far and the lessons learned to ratchet up performance to deliver more certain and substantial results.

The documents presents: i) Lessons for moving forward; ii) A strategy and orientations for transformation; iii) outcomes sought from CAADP in the next decade; and iv) Mecanisms of CAADP country implementation and implementation support.
