COOPI/Malawi-Madgascar-Mozambique-Comoros/2011. A Report on 'Providing Geographical Information Systems (GIS) technical support for Disaster Risk Reduction programs implemented by DIPECHO partners in the South East African and South West Indian Ocean region', in Beijing, China from 22nd-25th November 2011. The GIS4DRR projects are funded by European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), led by three main implementing organizations, Cooperazione Internazionale COOPI, Z_GIS and UN-office of Outer Space Affairs. This project involves 15 additional partners in 4 countries namely Malawi, Madgascar, Mozambique and Comoros. The presentations contained contained outcomes and impact of the recent UNSPIDER technical advisory missions.
