D2.6 SPLASH INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, NETWORKS AND INITIATIVES OF WATER SECTOR

In the report, international organizations, networks and initiatives of water sector for the developing world and those based in Europe, Asia and Africa are collated into an information source of networks relating to EUWI and European water research. In the report, a total of 48 organizations, networks and initiatives are presented as summaries.

The organizations included in the report range from UN organizations, foundations and funding instruments to political councils and associations of the water sector involved in development cooperation operating globally, in Asia and in Africa. Each organization, network or initiative is summarized and its objectives, organization and relevance is characterized. Internet pages of each organization, network and initiative are provided for further reference.
