DEAR to come (MSG meeting, Oct 2021)

The DEAR Multi Stakeholder Group (MSG) is a consultation forum, promoted by the European Commission (DG INTPA).

DEAR stakeholders are civil society organisations, youth groups, local authorities, scholars, international networks, agencies and ministries from EU member states - all interested in strengthening the impact of Global Citizenship Education in Europe.

The 30 invitees met online with the European Commission in late October 2021 and discussed: 

• The state of play of the 2022 DEAR Call for Proposals and the main open issues connected to it.
• The renewed mandate of the DEAR Multi-Stakeholder Group. Its new composition will be defined with a call for expression of interest to be launched in early 2022. Any European organisations committed  to Global Citizenship Education can apply.
• The future DEAR Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) framework, which will be used by all newly funded projects from 2022 onwards.
