DEAR Multi-Stakeholder Group meeting (March, 2021)

The DEAR Multi Stakeholder Group (MSG) is a consultation forum around Development Education and Awareness Raising.

Different categories of DEAR stakeholders and the European Commission gather to exchange and discuss ideas and strategies to strengthen the impact of Global Citizenship Education in Europe.

The MSG meeting, held in March 2021, brought together 42 people including representatives of civil society organisations and CSO platforms; local authorities and local authority networks; EU Member States; scholars; and international organisations and networks.

Together with the European Commission, they: explored the changing policy landscape relevant to the EU DEAR Programme; identified the priority features of the future Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework of the DEAR Programme; gave feedback to an evaluation report and a survey (respectively the Evaluation of the EU’s CSO-LA Programme and the DEAR Stakeholders survey carried out in December 2020).
