EC advanced seminar DLG 2012_Session 2.4 Policy dialogue on decentralisation

This presentation by Clara Molera discusses the evolution of policy dialogue within international commitments on aid and development effectiveness. It also presents the scope of policy dialogue and political dialogue, arguing that the borders between the two are often blurred.  It also reviews common assumptions on policy dialogue, and presents the outcomes of a case study on policy dialogue on decentralisation in Cambodia. The final section provides some lessons learnt on what is policy dialogue, how to conduct policy dialogue with regards process, content and means.
