The European Commission hosted a conference on December 2 on 'Health Crisis Prevention, Preparedness and Response', to explain the first results of the Union's longterm strategy in this area, including the deployment of EU Mobile Laboratories to combat the ongoing Ebola outbreak in Western Africa.
