Forest Partnerships FAQs

Five Forest Partnerships have been signed between the European Union and partner countries at COP27 (November 2022) to protect, restore and ensure the sustainable use of the world’s forests. They stress the challenges posed to forests by climate change, development needs, conservation objectives, but also the aspiration to enable forests to fulfil their economic, social and environmental role.
