The Green Economy in practice: illustrations from the EU SWITCH programmes

The green economy is a pathway to sustainable development. But how can we promote the transition within each sector and value chain? This publication takes us to a journey across selected economic sectors, with a view to inspiring and encouraging a switch to green, notably circular, practices. Facts and figures on the environmental impact of economic activities are used to explain the challenges faced in each sector. These are complemented with stories from the EU SWITCH programmes, showcasing successful green economy projects with strong replication potential.
