Illegal Logging and Related Trade: The Response in Ghana

In Ghana, implementation of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement with the EU has  prompted improved multi-stakeholder dialogue within the forest sector as well as a process of legal reform, which have contributed to reduced illegal logging. However, enforcement and administrative challenges remain, particularly in relation to tenure and resource rights.
