Illegal Logging and Related Trade: The Response in Indonesia

In Indonesia, implementation of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement with the EU has contributed to a decline in illegal logging but some more intractable problems have yet to be effectively addressed, including high levels of corruption and a lack of understanding of, and control over, the small-scale sector and domestic markets.
