Inclusive Lesotho Factsheet

Inclusive Lesotho seeks to strengthen democracy by advancing electoral reforms, inclusive governance, and citizen participation. Financed under the NDICI–Global Europe, the initiative builds on recommendations from the 2022 EU Election Observation Mission to improve electoral integrity, promote equal political representation, and restore trust in democratic institutions. By addressing barriers such as low voter turnout, gender inequality, limited participation of persons with disabilities, and gaps in campaign finance transparency, Inclusive Lesotho works to create a more resilient, inclusive, and participatory democracy.
