Intra-ACP APP 2nd Global Steering Committee Meeting
As per stated in the Financing Agreement, the 2nd global steering committee was set up on May 6th in Brussels to "oversee and validate the overall direction and policy of the Intra-ACP APP project".
With a special attendance from the ACP Secretary General, M. Patrick Gomes, this meeting provided the occasion for the ACP SG to reaffirm that " the ACP Secretariat, in collaboration with EU, believes that this project has enormous potential to create a policy environment" for the SIDS.
The overall objectives of this second Global Steering Committee Meeting were:
- to review the programme progress per actions,
- to present year one report for each component/action (Caribbean - CTA - Pacific)
- to review 2015/2016 work plans for each action/component and emphasis on priorities.
