Joint Statement of the European Commission (EC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for 2011-2013

This joint statement was signed by the European Commission (EC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in February 2011. It signals the renewal of the EC and UNEP’s political will to consolidate, develop and increase their cooperation and effectiveness to achieve their common goals and objectives in the field of environment. It builds upon the Memorandum of Understanding agreed in 2004.
