The GEO LAC 3 is the third comprehensive environmental assessment of the status and perspectives of the environment in the Latin American and Caribbean region. It is the result of a series of structured consultative process, with a solid scientific basis that analyze, in an impartial manner, the state of the environment, principal environmental impacts, and the motivating forces and pressures for environmental change.
