Loss and Damage in Africa (2014) Report
Our regional partner ClimDev-Africa produced a report on the loss and damage due to climate change in Africa. The report includes an analysis of the types of damage anticipated from climate change in Africa, an estimation of the cost of damage under different warming scenarios, an overview of potential solutions and conclusions and recommendations. We like the document for its attention to linking data on the impacts of climate change with policy recommendations. We suggest the report for anyone interested in: an overview of the damage and costs of climate change predicted in Africa; and policy solutions for Africa related to climate change.
