Mission Report DRC September 2011

First monitoring mission of the UNICEF nutrition project using a peer to peer methodology. Implementing partners (CRS and COOPI) participated in the monitoring of ACF's project and contributed to the identification of the current weaknesses and strengths of the programme from the technical stand. The added value and poinit of the methodology was to provide the elements to the other partners to improve their programmes that in the future will be visited applying the same principle.

Another conclusion was the identification of weakness on the basic principles of a nutrition programme by an organization with high level of expertise in the sector. It is a tendency seen in other countries and briing as point of reflexion the inconsistencies in quality within the same organization.

Early days in the programme, there is still time to improve.
