Moving against the tide: Africa rising to seize climate change opportunities for water, food and energy security (2014)
This Issues Paper was prepared for a United Nations Climate Summit, Side Event in 2014 by our partner ClimDev Africa. It “underscores the urgency of carrying out the investments and interventions needed to address the challenges of vulnerable African groups.” The paper highlights climate change opportunities, seeks to build understanding among policymakers, and contributes to strengthening the African position in a post-2015 arrangement. We like the document because it concisely summarizes the main climate issues for Africa while indicating a way forward. We suggest this document to anyone interested in: international climate change negotiations; climate change policy, and; climate change issues in Africa.
