Promoting gender in the EU external response to migration: The case of the Trust Fund for Africa

Has the EU been successful in integrating gender into the EU Trust Fund for Africa, one of the main financial instruments through which the EU engages with African partners in the field of migration and displacement? By looking at best practices and lessons learned, the authors of this paper highlight setbacks and successes, and share some suggestions on what could be done better in the future.
