As world leaders gather in Paris for COP21, this December issue (No. 51) of ROSA News shows some of the linkages between  food security and sustainable agriculture and climate change and focuses on the triple challenge for agriculture of adapting to climate change and contributing to mitigation, whilst managing to meet the crucial objectives of food security. News from the European Commission considers working with the African Union Commission on agriculture, food security and food safety with the Pan-African Programme, and it also introduces the new EU Emergency Trust Fund to address root causes of irregular migration and displaced persons in Africa, launched on 12 November at the Valetta Summit on Migration.
