Social Protection and the Informal Economy: Linkages and Good Practices for Poverty Reduction and Empowerment - OECD 2009

The paper explores how empowerment and social protection can be intertwined to achieve employment-related pathways out of poverty. It argues that good social provision can strengthen individual health and well being, as well as the capacity to organize and make demands for better conditions of work.
