Strategic Options Analysis - MDF- (2005)

This is another analysis method from MDF. This method of analysis recommends first gathering all possible information on a situation (facts, groups involved, trends, opportunities, and possible problems) with regard to the way that the organization is approaching the situation itself. Once this information has been gathered, a holistic approach to planning should be implemented, in order to create several different possible responses to a situation. This analysis method adds value by creating multiple, alternative options for an organization to take. As a result, the organization is much less likely to follow a path that fails to take a major factor of the situation into account.
