Capacity development of the State Ministries of Physical Infrastructure, local contractors and communities. Community sensitization and labour intensive support activities. Develop Sustainable Road Maintenance Concept Note.

UNOPS is working with UNIDO and GIZ in identifying support required for market infrastructure facilities at selected market areas along the Feeder Roads. UNOPS is working with SORUDEV partners in relation to community sensitization, mobilization and capacity building activities.
Just recruited Monitoring and Evaluation Expert who will be exclusively engaged on the evaluation and monitoring aspect of the anticipated results/outcomes and objectively verifiable indicators of achievement. Currently, the M&E expert is preparing M&E framework, PMEP, indicators assessment tools and the like.
New State officials need to be incorporated and appraised of the progress made and commitments of the previous office holders. New strategy on the resettlement action plan required for future projects. Maintaining strong synergy among key stakeholders requires regular communication, consultation and information sharing.
