VET Toolbox in Senegal: building skills for the eco-construction sector

In Senegal, the construction sector is shifting towards eco-construction to support the country's sustainability goals. Yet, Vocational Education and Training (VET) largely focuses on traditional methods, leaving a gap in eco-construction skills. Elementerre, an earth-building company, requires a workforce skilled in eco-construction techniques. To help bridge this gap, VET Toolbox supports Elementerre through the Jang Ban project, a training programme designed to equip individuals with essential eco-construction skills.
