During the next PFD meeting, taking place in Jordan next month, the main aspects of EU development policy, including the recently adopted New European Consensus on Development and the European Neighbourhood Policy will be presented. The new Consensus is the long-term vision and framework for action for development cooperation agreed between the European Union (EU) and its Member States. It aligns the Union's development policy with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Various aspects of the Consensus will be tackled but a specific mention will be made of how the new Consensus incorporates the advancement of climate change.
