I'm Italian and a European enthusiast, who's been working in the field of international affairs for over a decade. It's not just my job; it's my passion. I've gained experience in various aspects, from development and humanitarian aid to political affairs and peace processes. My journey has taken me through both the United Nations and NGOs, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the sector.
I'm currently based in Denmark, working as an Institutional Partnership Advisor for Save the Children. My role involves liaising with the EU Commission for specific countries in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, as well as exploring new partnership and financing models.
Before my current role, I spent around 10 years in the MENA region. I was in Gaza, as a Coordination Officer for the UN Middle East Peace Process Office, preceded by a position as a Strategic Planning Specialist for the UNDP Peace Support Facility in Yemen. From 2016 to 2018, I worked in Jordan with the UNDP Regional Bureau for Arab States, focusing on stabilization, resilience, and governance programmes. My first experience with the UN was in the Office of Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Amman (2012-2016), centered on responding to the impact of the Syria crisis.
I have a master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy from the University of Trieste and, besides Italian, I can speak English, French, Arabic and Spanish. I am driven by making an impact and I believe that one key to that is to join forces, share knowledge and information.
