I am András Merza, a dedicated project manager and international expert with over four years of experience in EU direct funding, proposal preparation, and project coordination. I specialise in managing Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, CERV, LIFE, URBACT, and EUI projects, with proven success in delivering complex initiatives across various funding programmes.
Since 2020, I have played key roles in developing and implementing innovative projects that promote research, education, and societal engagement. My expertise includes managing flagship events such as the Hungarian Researchers’ Night, coordinating administrative tasks for Erasmus+ projects like SmartKindergarten and STEAMCRAFT, and driving international collaborations as part of the Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development (RCISD).
I hold a Master's degree in Development Policy and Program Management and further qualifications in Climate Change Expertise and International Relations. My commitment to ethical and sustainable practices is supported by my training in Ethical Entrepreneurship. With strong organisational, proposal preparation, and communication skills, combined with hands-on experience across >16 international projects and >20 missions abroad, I am equipped to navigate diverse funding environments effectively.
Let’s collaborate to bring innovative ideas to life and achieve sustainable, strategic outcomes in the EU project landscape.
