Welcome to the group! This is a private group, created to facilitate exchanges of views, files, experiences and good practices among members of DEVCO’s Global Health Community. The group has been set up in such a way that it is not visible on any internet search engine, including the capacity4dev internal search function. This means that all that is shared here, will remain here. Many of the files you will find in the group library are the result of our joint conceptual development, and represent an internal perspective. For this reason, we count on the fact that you will not share files or views posted in this group unless it is made clear that these are for the public domain. Your participation is key to the success of this group! Dedicated pages (wikis) collate information and documents on given topics, such as the Thematic Health Seminars, Briefing papers on inter-sectoral approaches, Global Health Initiatives ( GHIs), Newsletters, Thematic video conferences, DEVCO-UNICEF Partnership Dialogue, the HAS, Communication and visibility, and Global health News. If you feel that a new wiki would be needed, please feel free to create one! In addition, through the Discussion section, you can start a debate, share information or ideas, or ask a question. Please not that you can attach files to any wiki or discussion. When you post or upload a document on the group, please add a brief description if it is a file, and make sure to select the most relevant thematic category from the drop-down menu – this will help having all information attributed to one or more topic, facilitating our knowledge sharing in a focussed way. See for example the categorization for the 2017 Thematic Health Seminar Over 100 categories are available for you to choose from, but more can be added as needed. Please remember that group admins are there to help you! If you experience internet connection issues but would still like to post a comment or upload a file on the group, share your needs with Giorgia (HAS), who will be able to post on your behalf in the group, or to provide (some) responses to your questions. Finally, if you experience any technical issue with the group, please look at the Help&Guidance section of C4D, or contact Daniel and Diane from the C4D support.
