Dr. Antonija Bogadi is a distinguished researcher and expert in sustainable urban and regional development, holding a Master's in Architecture and Urban Planning and a Ph.D. from Technical University Vienna. She leads the Green Deal Projects Department at SYNYO GmbH, Vienna, and has served as a senior researcher in over 20 HORIZON projects.
Dr. Bogadi has been instrumental in translating new insights from urban social-ecological resilience research into policy, particularly within the framework of the EU Green Deal and related policies. Her work, grounded in a complex systems thinking framework, encompasses ecosystem-based climate adaptation, knowledge and innovation implementation, participatory governance, urban planning, and sustainability and circularity education.
With 15 years of experience in teaching urban planning and research in Bachelor and Master programs, Dr. Bogadi has also held the position of director at the Association of Architects and Urban Planners. She has an extensive publication record and has presented her research at numerous international conferences, contributing significantly to the field of urban sustainability.
