With over 18 years of experience managing Grants and Contribution Agreements, these areas have been central to my career together with procurement audit and Budget support.
From 2006 to 2011, while based in Thailand, I gained in-depth experience with grant processes. I quickly took on responsibilities for overseeing calls for proposals for the region ( Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand) and became the main point of contact for agreements with UN agencies, significantly expanding my understanding of grant management and the project cycle management.
Later, in my post in China (2011-2017), I continued to manage grant contracts, collaborating with a consortium of specialized bodies from EU Member States in the fields of policing and disaster risk management. This position involved complex negotiations with Chinese authorities and relevant EU Ministry of Interior representatives. During this time, as an audit task manager, I further deepened my knowledge of the financial aspects of grant contracts.
From 2017 to 2022, I served as a financial verification officer for a team based in India and Bhutan, continuing as the primary contact for Contribution Agreements and Budget support.
Currently, in my position in Bosnia and Herzegovina (2022–present), I am the focal point for negotiating Contribution Agreements and lead DG NEAR’s pilot project on Results-Based Financing (or Financing Not Linked to Costs).
Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in every stage of the grant lifecycle—from identification, formulation, and proposal calls to contract preparation, implementation management, audit, evaluation, and final closure of agreements and decisions.
My extensive experience includes working with diverse stakeholders, such as NGOs, CSOs, international organizations, and specialized bodies from Member States.
