Italian from Florence, I took off to take part to the Erasmus Programme in Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and de facto I never stopped moving around Europe and the rest of the planet.
I am passionate about international relations and its history, international law, sustainability, and development assistance since a time in which those topics were not well known and developed. Following my studies in Political Science, and a Master of Science in International Cooperation and Project Design I dedicated the past two decades to disentangle complex development topics, address actual needs and transpose them in “projects”.
I worked for the UN, Italian Development Cooperation, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and I am currently at the European Commission DG for International Partnerships. For business I visited many countries and development partners in Central Asia, the Caucasus, Western, Eastern and Southern Africa. But my heart is in the Western Balkans, where I lived and worked at the beginning of this (on-going) journey.
I love working in team, learn and share tips and tricks. Somehow (!), I found myself comfortable linking development topics with tools related to results, indicators, targets, logframes. And this is what I do every day: share, not only on Cap4Dev!
