Dimitri De Pues is a highly organized, structured and goal oriented international development and project expert. An experienced planner, creator and implementer, Mr. De Pues speaks six languages and has extensive international experience. Mr. De Pues has demonstrated success designing, monitoring and managing projects in Southeast Asia, Southern Asia, Central Asia, Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America and the US. He has experience working in both the private and public sectors and applies his broad understanding of diverse cultures to form strong interpersonal relationships among stakeholders, donors, and his colleagues.
His areas of expertise include public procurement reforms, budgeting and accounting, public social accountability, corporate social responsibility, private sector business startup, project management, sustainable agriculture & forestry auditor (Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture, Rainforest Alliance Chain of Custody, and Legal Source for Legal Timber - EUTR).
He has worked for international development institutions but also directly with national structures to support them in their implementation of projects or strategies. Mr. De Pues is an avid believer of integrating cross cutting themes of environment, gender equality and social development in all projects or contracts being designed or implemented by governments, donors or the private sector and aims to be able to continue to contribute to these global objectives throughout his career.
