Francis Akena Adyanga is an Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Education at Kabale University, Uganda. He obtained a PhD in Education from the University of Toronto in 2014. He is a scholar with vested teaching and research interests in Indigenous knowledge, education for sustainable development, equity and diversity in education, and education in emergencies and post-emergency contexts.He has authored many articles in high-impact journals. Currently, he is a collaborative researcher in the project themed “Migration and Displacement Action Plan for Sub-Saharan Africa (MAPS).” The overall aim of this project is the development of policy-oriented research on migration and displacement in the sub-Saharan region. Sapienza University of Rome is the project leader.
