With over 30 years of experience in designing and implementing innovative higher education models, I am currently a passionate and creative strategist at the University of Twente, where I lead a new initiative to systematically use the outside-in perspective in strategy development and collaborations, focusing on the changing European Higher Education landscape. I have excellent partnership skills and broad field experience in Higher Education and TVET in Africa and the Middle East.
I thrive in international and multidisciplinary environments, where I combine strategy and business development, proven training approaches, online flexible learning arrangements, and information management. My mission is to create scalable, online, and flexible strategies and designs that ease the challenges and enhance the opportunities of professionals, academics, and students. I have strong expertise in technology-enhanced learning, digital transformation, lifelong learning, and open education, and I have published multiple articles and reports on these topics.
