
I am a Child Protection Specialist with extensive professional work experience in project cycle management with a focus on child protection and child rights in both developing and humanitarian settings. Recently served with UNICEF in Cambodia. Previously, I also worked as a Programme Support Expert in complex emergencies in the area of child rights and protection with other UN agencies such as the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Mali to provide support in the prevention, mitigation and response against violations of international human rights law (IHRL) and international humanitarian law (IHL) in the Sahel region.
I began my career focusing on child protection program design and development, monitoring and evaluation. As a Rotary Peace Fellow, I earned a master's degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of Queensland in Australia.
