I am a dedicated and energetic early career professional, seeking for meaningful employment in the
development sector in the South Asian context. My policy and research interests center on social protection,
migration, gender equality, and climate justice. My expertise lies in qualitative research, report writing, and
cross-cultural project coordination and management. I'm both a team-player and leader.
I have conducted independent ethnographic fieldwork for research projects with returned labor migrants and farmers in
Sindhupalchok, Nepal for my BSc and with Nepalese immigrants in the San Francisco Bay Area of California
in the United States for my MA in Development Studies. I have also worked on an International Labor
Organization commissioned research project on skill-based labor mobility partnerships. Besides research, I
have experience leading and working in international teams and civil society with various stakeholders to
design and facilitate multi-day events, academic conferences, effective fundraisers, participatory trainings and
workshops, awareness-raising campaigns, and grassroots community-led projects. I have experience working
in project and event management, research, hospitality, recruitment, communications, accounting, and
report writing. My passion project is the Eutopya Podcast in which we interview academics, activists, and
journalists on under-represented and pressing social justice issues.
