
Marika is young professional in development cooperation sector. She has a background in Social Sciences. She graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the University of Oslo with a joint MA degree in Global Development and Education. As part of her studies, she has undertaken research on Youth and Employability in Georgia as well as served as a GLOBED fellow at the University of Malta to contribute to youth research. Her professional background includes working with development organizations such as World Vision International, American Councils for International Education and the most recently EDUCO Foundation in Spain on the issues related to youth development and education, gender equality, girl’s empowerment, and sexual & reproductive health and rights.
